Questions about tiling
Should I buy the tiles myself?
Either works. The app asks whether you have them, the tiler supplies them, or you're not sure yet. Tilers see your answer before quoting, and the quote says whether tiles are included.
Can I just get the grout redone?
Yes. Choose the room, then Repair or regrout. A close photo of the grout lines shows how far it's gone.
Can I post a single cracked tile?
Yes, under Tile repairs. If you still have spare tiles from when the room was done, say so in the notes — matching an old tile is often the hard part.
Can the tiler take the old tiles off first?
Say so in the notes, along with what's under them if you know. The quote says whether removal is included.
Does a tiler fit the bath or shower as well?
Tilers tile. Fitting a bath, shower or toilet is a plumbing job, and a whole-room bathroom refit is listed under Builder.
