Builders in Swansea, for the bigger projects
An extension on the back, a loft turned into a bedroom, a wall knocked through between the kitchen and the dining room, or pointing that's letting the weather in. Describe the project in your own words and add photos of the space as it is now. Builders quote in the app, and bigger jobs can be split into stages.
You post the job from the Handled app.

Questions
Questions about building work
I'm only thinking about it. Can I still post?
Yes. The app asks where you are — just exploring ideas, ready to get quotes, or needing to start soon — and builders see that before they quote.
How does paying in stages work?
A builder can split the quote into stages, such as groundworks, walls and roof. You pay for each stage in the app and approve it when it's done; the builder is paid for that stage when you do.
Do I need planning permission or building regulations approval?
It depends on the project, and Handled doesn't decide it — the council's planning and building control teams do. If you already have drawings or an approval, add them as photos and mention them in the notes.
What if the builder finds something once work starts?
They add it in the app as a separate item with a price. Nothing is added to the job until you approve it, and you pay for it the same way as the rest.
Is repointing a builder's job?
Yes — choose Brickwork and repointing. A photo of the wall showing how high it goes lets builders see whether scaffolding is needed before they quote.
